Accomplishments 2006

2006 has been a year of transition for the Greater Largo Library Foundation.We have moved from a Building Fund Campaign mode to a Membership and Special Event Organization in order to fulfill our mission.

Mission

The Greater Largo Library Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that cultivates funding resources and advocates for the Library to enhance innovative Library services for the community's educational and cultural foundations.

2006 Funded Project's

During 2006 the Foundation provided funding for:
• Electronic, programmable Events signs
• Two Electric Mobility Carts
• Opened the Homework Center
• Sponsored the 1st Annual Anniversary Celebration and Pledge Burning
• Fashion Show
• Sponsored Two Outstanding Author Series
• Continued to collect Building Fund Pledges
• Presented the City of Largo with $500.000 collected for the building fund
• Hired a new Administrator, Development Specialist

We wish to thank the public for their continued support of the foundation and pledge that we will continue to offer superior services that enhance the quality of life and cumminty pride.

We also thank our Board of Directors and Volunteers for their hard work and dedication.
